Online Sales Office Furniture: Shipping, Withdrawal, Refund

Smartoffice S.r.l. with registered office in Corso Magenta n. 82 - 20123 - Milano, is the owner of the site

The contract stipulated between Smartoffice and the Customer must be considered concluded with the acceptance, even if only partial, of the order by Smartoffice S.r.l .. This acceptance is considered tacit, unless otherwise communicated to the Customer in any way. By placing an order in the various ways provided, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided to him during the purchase procedure, and to fully accept the general and payment conditions.

Correct receipt of the order is confirmed by Mobili by an e-mail reply, sent to the e-mail address supplied by the Customer. This confirmation message will contain an Order Number, to be used in any further communication with Mobili The message re-proposes all the data entered by the Customer who undertakes to verify its correctness and to promptly communicate any corrections. In case of non-acceptance of the order, Smartoffice guarantees timely communication to the Customer.

Smartoffice S.r.l. issues an invoice for the material sent, sending it by e-mail to the holder of the order, pursuant to Article 14 of the Presidential Decree 445/2000 and DL 52/2004. For the issuance of the invoice, the information provided by the Customer at the time of the order is authentic. No change in the invoice will be possible after the issuance of the same.


Purchases made on Mobili, like all remote purchases by telephone or correspondence, as they take place outside of business premises, are protected by the LGS Decree. 21/2014, which provides for the possibility for the consumer to exercise the right of withdrawal.

The consumer can exercise the right of withdrawal within a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods.

This right consists in the right to return the goods purchased from the supplier without any penalty and without specifying the reason, with the consequent reimbursement of the purchase price, appropriately deducted from the shipping costs incurred in the first shipment. The right of withdrawal applies to natural persons who act for purposes not related to their professional activity. Therefore, purchases made by resellers and companies are excluded from the right of withdrawal, i.e. those orders where a VAT number reference has been entered in the appropriate form.


The right of withdrawal is exercised by sending, within the aforementioned period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods, a written communication by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to: Smartoffice S.r.l. - Corso Magenta nr 82, 20123 - Milano.

The communication can be sent, within the same term, also by telegram or email to info@Mobili, provided that it is confirmed by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within the following 48 hours.

This communication must contain the codes of the products to be returned, as well as indications on how to reimburse the expenses incurred (money order, bank transfer, etc.) and any bank details.

The products subject to reconsideration must be returned by the consumer, in conditions of substantial integrity, to the address specified by Smart Office during the withdrawal phase.

The right of withdrawal is totally lost if the returned product is not intact, or in the case of:
• lack of original packaging
• absence of integral elements of the product
• damage to the product for reasons other than transport.

Once the goods have been received and their integrity has been verified, the price paid for the returned products will be refunded to the buyer within 14 days, less the amount of shipping costs which are always charged to the buyer.

Smartoffice s.r.l. reserves the right to withhold the refund until it has received the goods or until the consumer has demonstrated that he has returned the goods.


Within 14 days from the date on which the buyer has communicated that he wishes to withdraw, he must return the goods in intact condition.

The return can be made through the courier of your choice. We strongly advise you to return the product by registered mail or by post tracking and possibly to take out insurance from the courier for the commercial value of the returned products so that you can protect yourself in the event of loss or damage.


Upon delivery, the buyer must check the goods received and, if he finds obvious anomalies or defects, he must notify the seller within 2 days of delivery. In case of lack of conformity, Smartoffice will restore the conformity of the product by replacing the purchased item.

The risk of loss or damage to the goods is automatically transferred to the buyer when he (or a third party appointed by him and other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.

Product replacement times depend exclusively on the manufacturer's policies and no damage can be requested from Smartoffice S.r.l. for any delays in making replacements.


The sales contract between the customer Smartoffice S.r.l. it is understood to be concluded in Italy and governed by Italian law. For the solution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance sales contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial jurisdiction is that of the reference forum of his town of residence; in all other cases, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Milan.

In order to have a fast and safe delivery, at the time of purchase it is necessary to indicate the destination address as accurately as possible.

Smart Office is not responsible for any delays and / or non-deliveries caused by incomplete or inadequately provided addresses when ordering. In any case Smartoffice is not responsible for any delays in delivery due to the courier. Any delays will not give the buyer any right to claim damages of any kind. 

Estimated delivery times are on average 7-10 working days.

Only in exceptional cases, of small packages or addresses that are difficult to access to our vehicle:

Mobili entrusts the shipments to couriers such as SDA o Bartolini. From the day of shipment they usually take 24/48 hours (working days) for Italian destinations. The cost is 10% of the taxable amount for any national shipment. This amount, if charged, is already highlighted in the cart and therefore included in the Total to pay. The transport costs contribution is applied only once, to a single order, regardless of the number of products inserted.

If the order amount exceeds the total sum of 1000 Euro, Shipping will be free for any destination within the Italian territory.

At the time of shipment you will receive an email containing the tracking number (to be entered on the courier's website) in order to track the shipment.

Product deliveries will take place during working days. In case of absence of the recipient, it is the courier's practice to leave a coupon in the mailbox or near the intercom with which he communicates his passage and the non-delivery of the package. We recommend that you contact the branch indicated on the coupon directly to agree on the next delivery. Shipments that will return due to an exceeded storage period will be subject to payment by the customer for the reshipment of the goods.

It should be noted that no courier makes preventive phone calls and does not manage shipments that require particular times. Product deliveries will take place during working days from 9.00 a.m. at 18.00 p.m. The recipient of the package is invited to check and ensure its integrity immediately upon collection and in front of the courier in charge of delivery.

No courier will check the contents of the package before having signed for delivery. In the event that you are not the one to collect the package directly, please inform who will collect it. We thank you for your cooperation.

For all ordinary deliveries in the national territory: makes shipments through own vehicles with 11m wide arched case. From the day of shipment they usually take 3/4 working days for Italian destinations. The cost is 10% of the taxable amount for any national shipment.

If the order amount exceeds the total sum of 1000 Euro, Shipping it will be free for any destination within the Italian territory.

At the time of shipment you will receive an email containing information relating to the exact day of delivery and contact of the driver who will take care of it.

Product deliveries will take place during working days no later than 18:00. In case of absence of the recipient it is the courier's practice bring the goods back to our logistics and production site. We recommend contacting directly the customer assistance of Mobili to agree on a possible second one delivery.

Please note that the courier makes preventive phone calls to let you know your arrival time. Product deliveries will take place during working days from 9.00 a.m. at 18.00 p.m. The recipient of the goods to check and make sure of the exact number and integrity of the packages immediately upon collection and in front of the courier in charge of delivery and note any defects or problems in the material on the bill.

The delivery of the material is always intended and strictly street level, it will not be the driver's task to bring the goods to the floor or inside the office. In case you have purchased the service of assembly will be the task of the fitters themselves to take care of delivery to the floor e disposal of packaging. We thank you for your cooperation.
